Book of Demons

Pretty...

... boring. Between the fact that your character walks by himself on straight fixed tracks, attacks by himself, and that the exploration factor is nix... you wonder if the game really wishes to have any kind of relation with the gamer. And - that's silly - despite the fact that the game is almost entirely on automation, it still insists to hold your hand as if you you had a QI lower than pebble. An adult and normally intelligent gamer will feel largely bored, and slightly insulted.

Drakensang

Wait for Drakensang 2 .The River of Time

Truly, this first Drakensang cRPG is more like a beta for the excellent, great, wonderful Drakensang: The River of Time, which I hope will soon be added to GOG's catalogue. Don't let this first opus put you off playing River of time. Actually, you can skip this one, though it's quite playable, or - why not - play it to learn in advance the peculiar RPG mechanics that you will enjoy through the second Drakensang.

Mark of the Ninja: Remastered

One of the bests

Side-scrolling games are not really my favorites. But this one is an exception. I played the original version entirely already twice already, and can't wait to play again through this version. The blend of action and stealth, combined with clever tactics and smart skills, all this makes Mark of the Ninja one of my favourite games in 30 years of gaming. 5 stars for real!
